Deric
Jones is (in all definitions of the word), the "glue" of Keep the Secrets. Practical yet open to new ideas,
Deric is best known for adding what makes the biggest difference in the end...the voice of reason. While John dreams
up capacious endeavors, Deric sits back observantly and analyzes the big picture. Among the many nick-names earned over
the years, the most noteable is "Midas." John has been quoted on numerous occasions stating, "Deric is
the 'Midas' of KTS...he adds the golden touch, and makes the song worth listening to!"

Starting as a drummer in local Seattle groups, Deric
soon moved on to producing when he met John Renfrow at a mutual friend's home. Deric is a producer's producer.
His keane ear serves a key role in the KTS sound. "Deric will literally sit for a few hours while I work on a song,
just listening. Then when I finally turn to him to get a little input, he'll reply with 'Take the volume on the hi-hat
up, and drop the string break back into the mix a little on the eight measure.' It drives me insane because he nails
things that I don't even notice! Of course, I appreciate it in the end when I realize that he was right...which he always
is" said John in a recent interview. John also mentioned that "He (Deric) will wait until I leave the studio,
then create an entirely new arrangement of the song. Then when I drop in for the next session, he'll have an entirely
new song to show me. Usually, I find that it's way better! Piss me off! (Smiles John)"

At heart, Deric
is a family man that cares deeply about the ones closest to him. As respectable as he is loyal, Deric is truly the adhesive
factor in Keep the Secrets. "I have nothing but love and respect for Deric...he's the only band member I've ever
had that's been able to tolerate me for more than a few months (smiles John)."
